The first set of procedures to be performed for the incentives system setup consists of defining your organization. This is also the default module once you enter the system.
The Organization module encompasses all functions concerning the company’s representatives and their incentives. This is also the module that informs you on the current commissions and incentives to be paid to the representatives.
This module requires defining the following:
- Representatives
- Incentives (display, for information only)
- Performance (display, for information only)
- Targets
- Special entry by manager (manual input).
The following diagram shows that the first main procedure in the system setup - Defining representatives - means defining the organization. The right-hand flowchart shows the Organization definition procedure.
Only once this information is provided can you continue in the commission model definition, and other features and settings.
