Further Details for Setting a New Period

You can specify more details or define the data load while adding a new period by clicking on Advanced option.

The Advanced feature enables loading commission plans from previous and selected periods, and lock them to prevent changes (or prevent changes by managerial personnel or any other personnel).

The Advanced feature enables selecting the period from which the commission plans are selected at system start.

The Advanced feature also enables dual selection of loading and start period. 

To select advanced options for the selected period, proceed as follows:

1. Press Advanced (2) in the Add screen (1) after inserting all other definitions. The Advanced options are displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Commission Plan - Loading Period

To select a specific Loading period for commission plans, proceed as follow:

2. Click Load (3) if you want to select a specific period for the commission plans.
3. Press Load From (4) drop-down menu to select the period.

Commission Plan - Locking Period

4. Press the Period Lock (5) to lock (or not) changes in the selection. Three options are available:

• Not Locked
• Locked for Managers
• Locked for All

5. Press the Add  (6) button. A [Data has been saved] green banner is shown at the upper right-hand area in the screen, indicating successful procedure.  The selected Period (10) is now added to the period list.

To select a Start period for commission plans, proceed as follow:

6. Click Start Period (3) if you want to select a specific period for the commission plans.
7. Press Load From (4) drop-down menu to select the period.
8. Press the Period Lock (5) to lock (or not) changes in the selection. Three options are available:

• Not Locked
• Locked for Managers
• Locked for All

9. Press the Add  (6) button. A [Data has been saved] green banner is shown at the upper right-hand area in the screen, indicating successful procedure.  The selected Period (10) is now added to the period list.

The system will start calculating commissions for the first time in accordance with the selected Start Period.
