In order to prevent involuntary edits or changes at Transaction manipulation screen, a lock state is added. without removing the Lock state mode, it allows viewing only, without the ability of editing and making changes.
Go to ‘Modeling’ 
'Data Elements'choose one of the 'Data Source'choose your desire population and enable ‘Lock State’ checkbox.
